We went to Dallas today.
今日はダラスへ行ってきました。



It was too hot, so she stayed at PetSmart's PetsHotel for a few hours.
あまりに暑いので、ペッツマートのペットホテルに数時間預けることに。

It was $14 dollors for the daycare and $12 for bathing.
チェックイン中です。子守りが１４ドルで、シャワーが１２ドルでした。

Sleeptalking 寝言

Every time I try to shoot a video of her sleeptalking, she wakes up immediately. Finally I got it recorded.
いつも寝言を言ってろところをビデオに撮ろうとするとすぐに起きてしまうココ。今日は撮れました。

Somen 素麺

Morning 朝

It's been really hot at night time. I went to UT Tyler at 8pm last night, and it was still 100 degrees. So I went there this morning at 7. It was pretty cool.

もう毎日夜でも暑くて、昨日夜８時に学校へ散歩へ行ったときはまだ３８度もありました。で、今日はあさ涼しいうち（７時）に行ってきました。２９度だったけど、かなり涼しかったです。やっぱり汗びっしょりになったけど。。。

　

The sprinkler was running and it was pretty wet.
スプリンクラーが回っていたのでぬれていました。


But she doesn't care about the sprinkler.
でもココはスプリンクラーなんてどうでもいいみたいです。




The lake is drying out...

I woke up at 6:30 this morning and took Koko to UT Tyler. It was only 80 degrees, so I decided to let her play in the morning instead of later when it's hot.
今日は６時半に起きてココを学校へ連れて行きました。気温はたったの２７度。夜につれてくと３７度とかになってしまうので朝遊ばせることにしました。

　

We met two Labradoodles there!! Koko didn't really play with them, but I think they can be good friends of her.
なんとラブラドゥードルに会いました。全然一緒に遊んだりは今回はしなかったけど、仲良くできたのでよかったです。

4th of July Luncheon 独立記念日ランチョン

We had this 4th of July luncheon today at work. Kilgore Crawfish & Seafood catering service came over to serve us.
今日は独立記念日のランチョンが会社でありました。キルゴア・ザリガニ＆シーフードがケータリングにやってきました。




Catfish, shrimp, chicken, hush puppy, coleslaw, fries. They didn't have crawfish...
ナマズ、エビ、チキン、ハッシュ・パピー、コールスロー、ポテト。残念ながらザリガニはありませんでした。。。。

Trying The Cool Vest クール・ベストを試す

We tried her cool vest today. She was so uncomfortable in it and wasn't able to run normally. Plus, the velcro came off in like 5 mins. I'm returning it to Amazon.
今日、クール・ベストを試しました。ココはどうも着心地が悪いみたいで、全然普通に走れません。さらに、マジッックテープが５分もたたないうちにとれてしまいました。アマゾンに返品です。

Cool Vest クール・ベスト

I ordered her a cool vest last week and finally received it today.
先週注文したクール・ベストが今日やっと届きました。











I wanted to try it on her today, but it was pretty cool after the rain. I'll probably use it this weekend.
今日試そうとも思ったのですが、雨が降ってかなり涼しかったので（といってもよる８時で３０度。４０度の暑さに慣れてしまって散歩していて冷やっと感じました）週末にでも試します。

We saw Maggie and Major today.
今日はマギーとメイジャーに会いました。

Frogs カエル

A bunch of frogs come to our house every night.

I don't know what they're doing. Maybe just sleeping there?

Summer Cut 夏刈り

I really don't like keeping her hair short, but it is way too hot these days. I found out the groomer at her vet office is cheaper than Petsmart. I paid $50+tax+tip for this (complete haircut, bathing, nail clipping, and anal glands expression).
あんまり短く切っちゃうのはホントは好きじゃないんだけど、あんまり暑いので切るとこに。獣医さんに常駐しているグルーマーさんがペッツマートより全然安いことがわかったので、試してみることに。なんとヘアカット、お風呂、爪切り、肛門腺絞りまですべて込みで５０ドルと税金とチップ。

Hot Hot!! 暑いっ！！

I waited until 8pm to walk Koko because it was still hot. Look at the temperature. 96 degrees at 8:33pm!!
今日はあまりにも暑かったのでよる８時まで待って散歩へ行きました。夜８時３３分でまさかの３６度！！

　

After a while, it was too hot she had to stop and rest for a while.
あまりに暑すぎて、途中で止まって座り込むココ。ちょっと休憩しました。

A Bird 小鳥

I found this bird when I was watering this morning.
今朝水まきをしていたらこんな鳥を見つけました。






I think Koko wanted to eat it.
たぶんココは食べたかったんだと思います。


I thought it was injured and couldn't fly or something, so I tried to pick it up. It did fly away...
怪我して飛べないのかと思って捕まえようとしたんだけど、飛んで逃げていきました。。。

I can't see Koko's eyes. She's getting a haircut Monday.
ココの目は見えなくなってしまいました。月曜にグルーミングです。
