数学の学会 Math Conference

Friday afternoon, we left school for Mathematics Conference. We stayed in Huntsville, TX (Sam Houston State University) all day Saturday and left around 6pm. I am so tired.

Okay, so they had some food for us. meatloaf, chicken fried chicken, mashed potato, white gravy, green beans, cucumber & tomato & onion salad, rolls, fruit salad.

寒がりの5人組は冷房がんがんの校舎にはいられず外で食事。30度超えていたので暑かった。写真には5人しかいないけど、UT タイラーは今回は20人以上参加。

The building was super cold. We simply couldn't stay inside. You see only 5 people there, but UT Tyler had over 20 people this time.

ガンボの日 Gumbo Day

David & Alesa asked me to cook gumbo once a month. I've been trying to update my blog, but I have been super busy since the school started. Analysis and Abstract Algebra are killing me. Some problems takes me like 3 days to solve. Why do I have to prove something like 0<1 or 0 is not equal to 1??

chicken breast, crab, shrimp sausage, okra, onion, green pepper, garlic, celery, shrimp & crab boil, red wine, EVOO, gumbo base, steamed rice

豚の生姜焼き Teriyaki Pork

I am feeling better now, but I'm still keeping Japanese diet for each dinner. I don't know how to translate this dish to English. I would just say Teriyaki Pork. Stir fried pork with ginger and soy sauce.

Sliced pork, ground ginger, sake, soy sauce, sugar, lettuce
